The Burlingame Neighborhood Network (BNN) invites you to learn how to use the Zello push-to-talk app on your smartphone during a one-hour Zoom call on Thursday, March 10, at 7 p.m. so you can communicate easily with others during an emergency. To register, click here.
BNN also is inviting Burlingame residents to participate in a new BNN Zello “Net” that will be held twice a month to foster stronger relationships between neighborhoods that participate in the Burlingame Disaster Survival Drill each October.
The Zello app enables you to stay in touch with family and neighbors during an emergency as long as you have WiFi or a cellular connection. Zello has more than150 million users worldwide in at least 200 countries. It is used by first responders in disasters and by families, neighbors and businesses. It is free.
