Two Arrested in Connection to Burlingame Robbery
Burlingame and Hillsborough residents now in custody.

Police Thursday said they have arrested two suspects in connection with an armed robbery committed in Burlingame.
The alleged armed robbery took place in a parking lot in the 1200 block of Donnelly Avenue earlier this week, police said.

The suspects allegedly assaulted one of the victims, with whom they had met to buy marijuana, with a handgun and fired one shot from the gun as the victims left the parking lot in a vehicle. No one was injured in the shooting.
The two victims reported the crime the next day and police obtained $250,000 warrants for the arrest of 20-year-old Hillsborough resident Gabriel Herrera and 18-year-old Burlingame resident Diontae Gayden.

Officers arrested Herrera Wednesday in a parking lot at the College of San Mateo and Gayden early Thursday at his residence. Police booked both of the men into San Mateo County Jail.
Police said when officers searched each man’s residence and a third residence officers found evidence of the robbery, but they have yet to locate the handgun.
Police said a third man was with Gayden and Herrera, but have not identified him yet. Police are describing the man as Hispanic, in his early 20s, about 6 feet 1 inch tall, 160 pounds, with a mustache. Police are asking anyone with information about the third suspect to call the Burlingame Police Department at (650) 777-4100.
