'Well Below Average' Temps Expected In Burlingame: Weekend Weather Forecast

BURLINGAME, CA – Planning your weekend around the Bay Area? Though we're nearing summer, you can still expect some cooler temperatures.

"Temperatures will remain well below seasonal averages, especially inland, through the upcoming weekend," the National Weather Service said on Friday. "In addition, there is a slight chance of showers across the northern portion of the region Saturday with possible thunderstorms on Sunday afternoon."

Come next week, a gradual warming trend is expected.

As for Burlingame in particular, here's what the NWS says you can expect weather-wise:

Today
Sunny, with a high near 67. West northwest wind 13 to 21 mph, with gusts as high as 26 mph.

Tonight
Mostly clear, with a low around 53. West northwest wind 15 to 20 mph decreasing to 9 to 14 mph after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 25 mph.

Saturday
Mostly sunny, with a high near 66. West wind 9 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.

Saturday Night
Partly cloudy, with a low around 52. West northwest wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.

Sunday
A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 11am. Mostly sunny, with a high near 63. West wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

Mostly clear, with a low around 52.
