You have to try: Spinach Bolani

This vendor's specialty is traditional Afghani flat bread called bolani, baked and stuffed with either spinach, pumpkin, red potato or green lentil filling. Amir Rahman, the operator of East and West Gourmet Foods' stand at Fresh Market, suggests the spinach bolani topped with Afghani-style yogurt.

"The crowd is amazing on a cloudy day," said Rahman. This vendor is based out of a commercial kitchen in Concord, California, and serves over 200 farmer's markets throughout the state.

Her Coconess is otherwise known as the confectioner Shelly Seward. Based out of a commercial kitchen in Belmont, California, Her Coconess has been in business for just over one year.

"I'm local, and this is a great market," Seward said about the Fresh Market.
