Woman Hospitalized In Peninsula Hit-And-Run: Police
Police are asking for the public's help finding the man who fled the scene.

PACIFICA, CA — A woman was injured in a hit-and-run Friday night in Pacifica, according to police. At 8:50 p.m., officers responded to the intersection of Manor Drive and Oceana Boulevard on a report of a possible hit-and-run involving a car and a pedestrian.
Officers arrived at the scene and found a 35-year-old woman suffering from injuries to her face and pain to her lower body. She was taken by ambulance to a hospital for treatment, police said.
Police investigated and learned that the woman was walking west in the southern crosswalk of the intersection when she was struck by a silver SUV that was turning south onto Oceana Boulevard from Manor Drive.

According to police, the driver stopped his car and briefly spoke to the victim before driving away from the scene. He was described as a white man, 45 to 50 years old, 5 feet 10 inches tall with a medium build and shoulder-length gray hair. He was wearing a blue T-shirt and had a tattoo on his arm, police said.
