Women's Hall of Fame to Welcome 5 New Members

The San Mateo County Commission on the Status of Women will induct its 2026 class into the county's Women's Hall of Fame on Friday, March 6, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the Farallon Room at Skyline College in San Bruno. Tickets, $45, are available at https://bit.ly/WHOF2026.

Three of the honorees are women with a record of exceptional community service and two are high school students who will be honored as "Young Women of Excellence." They are Andrea Jones of Redwood City, whose career centers on advancing the well-being of children and families; Alyson Suzuki of San Mateo, who leads efforts to strengthen language access and support systems for Asian families and other underserved communities; Terry Nagel of Burlingame, a community leader, former mayor and longtime volunteer; Danika Gonzalez Johnston of Half Moon Bay High School; and Amani Shroff of Carlmont High School.
