• Deer Valley Road Traffic Safety Improvements Project Set to Begin (contracosta.news) — Expect traffic delays soon if you use Deer Valley Road, as Contra Costa County will begin weekday safety improvements there from September 8 through November 20, with traffic controls and message boards in place. The same county department that operates Byron Airport in Byron is leading the project, aiming to improve safety at four specific locations along this busy corridor.
