Alicia Weintraub Endorsed by the CPHA
"The CPHA supports my vision for our community and is confident of the strong voice that I will provide on our City Council"
Dear Friends and Supporters,
It is with great pride and pleasure that I announce that last night I received the endorsement of the Calabasas Park Homeowners Association (CPHA), which is the largest homeowners’ group in Calabasas and covers 17 individual homeowners associations including the beautiful area around Calabasas Lake. It truly is a great feeling to know that the CPHA supports my vision for our community, understands how dedicated a public servant I am and will continue to be, and is confident of the strong voice that I will provide on our City Council.
It is hard to believe that after many months of organizing and campaigning, the Election is less than three weeks away (Tuesday November 3rd) and for many who are voting by mail, the election is well under way.

Everyday, I continue to meet with members of our community to discuss the topics that are of utmost importance to them. The residents I talk with take great pride in our community and, like myself, want Calabasas to remain a special place in which to live and work. They appreciate that I want to maintain our quality of life, prevent over development, and make sure that Calabasas never becomes a mini Los Angeles.
I have learned that my support comes not just because of my positions on the major issues but because people trust me and have seen my longstanding commitment to the city including service on City Commissions, my work for the schools, and my involvement in so many local projects. I pride myself on tackling an issue and seeking a balanced solution. People know that I am an independent thinker who is not beholden to any special interest groups. I truly love Calabasas and that is why a number of years ago my husband Adam and I chose to raise our family here.

I am so thankful that I have received the support of people from all over Calabasas, from young families to seniors, and from those of all different political parties.
And I know that people are excited that I will bring a different perspective to the Council. They like that I will also bring a different demographic to the Council--a woman, younger (since otherwise all Council members will be 50 years or older), and not an attorney, having earned a Bachelor’s from UCLA and a Master’s Degree in Public Policy from Pepperdine.
Many of you ask what you can do now to help me win this election. My goal is to complete this race as strongly as when I started. At this point, the most important thing you can do is to encourage your family and friends to vote, either now by mail or on election day Tuesday, November 3rd. We don’t take any vote for granted because people with great intentions often get busy and simply forget to vote.
The next three weeks are so important, not only for my campaign but for the passage of both Measures E (for continuing the $98 parcel tax to raise additional monies for our children at school) and Measure O (Preserving our Open Spaces) both of which I strongly support. If you have time and would like to make additional calls, please let me know since we will be having a phone bank soon, or I can provide you with a list of residents whom you can call on your own time to urge them to vote.
If you would like to donate $10, $25 or whatever you are comfortable with to help during the final weeks of the Campaign, you can donate electronically on my website by clicking here. If you would like to send a check, please make it payable to “Alicia Weintraub for Calabasas City Council 2015- Tax ID#1375365” and send your contribution to:

And please forward this email to your friends and family.
As always, thank you for your enthusiastic support.
Sincerely,
Alicia Weintraub
