• Spooky Season 2026: The Best Halloween Events in Los Angeles (hooplablog.com) — Calabasas families can head to King Gillette Ranch for Nights of the Jack, a mile-long trail of hand-carved pumpkins, food trucks, and Halloween activities running through early November. Beyond that, the guide highlights dozens of other Halloween and Día de los Muertos events across greater Los Angeles, from theme-park haunts and bar crawls to kid-friendly festivals and spooky dining experiences.
• Ayala named to LA County Metro board (signalscv.com) — Calabasas residents will now be represented on the powerful LA County Metro board by Santa Clarita Mayor Pro Tem Patsy Ayala, who will speak for multiple cities including Calabasas on countywide transit policy and investments. Her appointment brings years of transportation experience to decisions that affect local commutes, regional connections, and future mobility projects across Los Angeles County.
