Kick-Off Event will take place on Wednesday, November 19th 2014 from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Barnes & Nobles, 4735 Commons Way in the Calabasas Commons. Attendees will be able to select books placed on the Literally Healing Program “Wish List” by young patients and donate them onsite.
The program benefits children like Joshua Solis, a student at Calabasas Creekside Klubhouse, who has a benign hereditary bone condition and has recently undergone surgery at the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. The Solis family decided to organize this Book Fair in hopes of helping all the patients and their families at the hospital and to bring awareness to the Literally Healing Program.
