Concert Series to Get Into Swing at Calabasas Lake

Sun Sets kicks off Sunday and will be followed by five more shows throughout the summer.

The Sun Sets summer concert series kicks off Sunday at 6 p.m. at Calabasas Lake and will feature musical performances spanning many genres.

The concerts, which will take place on six Sundays throughout the summer, are free to the public.  Limited fixed seating is available on a first come, first served basis.

All concerts begin at 6 p.m., and parking is available at the Calabasas Tennis and Swim Center at 23400 Park Sorrento.

This year's shows include:

June 6 – The Legends of Swing

The popular swing tribute band Legends of Swing will take to the stage and play well-known classics by such greats as Benny Goodman and Glenn Miller.

June 20 – The Hodads

The Hodads put on a high energy show so celebrate Father's Day with some toe-tapping music.

July 18 – Stone Soul

This night will be a trip down memory lane as Stone Soul performs the best  Motown tunes from the 1960s.

Aug. 1 – Opa Opa

The music takes a turn south of the border when the Latin beats of Opa Opa hit the stage.

Aug. 15 – Walk Like a Man

If you're a fan of Frankie Valli, the Four Seasons or the Tony Award-winning Broadway hit  Jersey Boys, then this concert is for you.

Aug. 29 – Fantastic Diamond

This Neil Diamond tribute band will perform more than 40 years of classic hits by the legendary singer.
