special Needs Group Selling Their Products At Farmers Market

Farming Independence, a local non profit that provides programs teaching job skills to teens and adults with autism and other developmental disabilities has partnered with Malibu and Vine Bar & Grill to start producing cookies called MEABLES. 'It is our goal to open a bakery that will employ individuals with special needs," says, President, Sheila Mayfield

On Sunday Augsut 26th, the participants from the 'Go Wild' Summer program will be selling the cookies as well as other products they made during the August program, at the Westlake Village Farmers Market from 10 - 2.
