Celebrating Halloween in a Mind-Chilling New Way

Barnes & Noble, Calabasas, CA –
Spotlight The Arts Foundation presents dramatic readings of Edgar Allen Poe’s works at a ticket-free event Thursday October 30th, 2014 7pm – 9pm
The night before Halloween, author, actor, poet, director, and playwright Peter Hayes Brothers will captivate you with performances by talented thespians of the most macabre literary imaginings penned by Poe. Director Peter Brothers will enthrall audiences with works like “The City in the Sea,” “To One in Paradise,” “For Annie,” and excerpts from literary masterpieces like “The Fall of the House of Usher,” and “The Sphinx.”
Fitting the season, Brothers will turn his bookshop audience into accomplices for eerie tales of intrigue, betrayal and supernatural specters. Bring your friends to witness the resurrection of shadowed gothic literature; for only as long as the pendulum swings.
