• High School Girls Soccer: Calistoga starts 0-6 with senior-less team (napavalleyregister.com) — Calistoga High's girls soccer team has opened the season 0-6, fielding a very young roster with no seniors after last year's playoff run. Coaches and players are focusing on building chemistry among juniors, sophomores, and freshmen as they face league rivals like Credo, Technology, and Anderson Valley, hoping to grow into a stronger playoff contender next year.
• CA: Napa Transportation Authority tries to make its job clear (masstransitmag.com) — Calistoga residents are represented on the Napa Valley Transportation Authority board, which is refining how it explains its role in planning and funding local transit and road projects. The agency oversees buses, bike and pedestrian improvements, and key Highway 29 upgrades that influence how easily Upvalley residents can travel for work, school, and errands across Napa County.
