3 Teens Arrested In Healdsburg School Lockdowns
Three teens were arrested after an off-campus confrontation involving a machete and a black firearm.
HEALDSBURG, CA — Three teens were arrested after reports of a gun locked down two Healdsburg campuses Friday.
Authorities locked down Healdsburg High School and the Fitch Mountain Campus following the report of a confrontation in the 11000 block of Los Amigos Road.
The confrontation between the three students happened at about 10:30 a.m. off-campus.

The students reached Healdsburg High School and were in class when the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office received the report of a disturbance involving a firearm at about 10:37 a.m.
Healdsburg High School ordered students and staff to shelter in place at 10:47 a.m. while Sonoma County sheriff’s deputies and Healdsburg police searched the schools.

Authorities detained the three teenagers on the high school grounds. The lockdown lasted about 50 minutes.
The confrontation between the teens began when two people left a residence for school and found a silver car blocking their path, according to the Sheriff's Office.
One teen got out of the car and confronted an adult in the car, and the two exchanged insults.
Another vehicle then pulled up behind them. A teenager got out of the car, while the adult driver of the second car retrieved a machete from the vehicle.
The passenger in the second car got a black firearm, which he held at his side during the confrontation. The adult driver left.
Deputies booked the three teens into Los Guilicos Juvenile Hall.
A 16-year-old faces charges of false imprisonment, challenging another person to a fight, conspiracy to commit a crime, a gang enhancement, and possessing alcohol on school property.
A second 16-year-old faces charges of challenging another person to a fight, brandishing a firearm, conspiracy to commit a crime, and a gang enhancement.
A 17-year-old faces charges of conspiracy to commit a crime, a gang enhancement, and possessing alcohol on school property.
Students and staff were safe, and authorities reported no campus injuries and found no gun, according to the sheriff's office.
