2 Men Killed In San Jose Shooting

Police believe the shooting was isolated.

SAN JOSE, CA — Two men were shot and killed in downtown San Jose early Sunday morning, according to the San Jose Police Department.

The shots rang out in the 100 block of Paseo de San Antonio at about 2:20 a.m.

The two victims were found in the area with gunshot wounds by responding police officers. Both died at the scene after medical aid was unsuccessful, according to a statement from the San Jose Police Department.

No arrests were immediately made. Police believe the shooting was isolated.

The deaths mark the city's second and third homicides of 2026.
