8 Displaced After San Jose Apartment Building Fire
Eight people were displaced and one person was hospitalized, according to the San Jose Fire Department.
SAN JOSE, CA — Fire crews in San Jose put out a residential fire on Monday afternoon that displaced eight people, the fire department said.
The fire broke out on the second floor of a two-story apartment building in the 900 block of N. First Street at about 4 p.m.
The fire appeared to originate in one unit and then spread to the attic. Adjacent apartments had fire and water damage as well.

By 4:37 p.m., the fire was under control.
