Breakfast With Santa

Annual event is family-friendly Holiday fun.

The annual Breakfast with Santa event at the Campbell Church of Christ was fun for young and old alike.

We arrived to a very friendly welcome with volunteers posted along the way from the parking lot to the door. Once inside we were greeted by more friendly volunteers where we check in. We were given a craft bag for each child and showed to tables where the kids could do their crafts or color while we waited for our turn to be seated. There was also coffee and cocoa to enjoy.

When our name was called, we were shown to a room that was beautifully decorated with lights and all sorts of Holiday decorations. We were seated and shown to the breakfast buffet.

Next came picture time! Our kids aren't so sure about the whole Santa thing just yet, but other kids were SO excited! Santa was so sweet and patient with our little ones and the photographer was happy to do a couple of takes to try for a better picture.

While we waited for our picture to be printed, we enjoyed a Christmas story read by Santa himself. The children all enjoyed gathering in a circle to hear the story. Even our (nervous and shy) kids liked that part!

On our way out, we were given our printed picture and they even offered to email copies to us. It was a lovely way to spend a rainy morning!

The event happens every year, and is FREE to all. Reservations are required, and they fill up quickly! If you would like to attend next year's Breakfast with Santa event, be sure to call the church or check their website in early November.
