Looking for a safe, not-too-scary way to introduce your little one to trick-or-treating? Tech or Treat at The Tech Interactive is a playful first Halloween adventure designed with curious kids and their families in mind.
Put on your costume and bring your curiosity to Tech or Treat, a playful Halloween celebration at The Tech Interactive in downtown San Jose. On Saturday, Oct. 31, explore The Tech while stopping at trick-or-treat stations, striking a pose at festive photo ops, and discovering hands-on activities with a delightfully spooky twist. It’s a welcoming Halloween adventure that’s especially great for first-time trick-or-treaters.
What to Expect:
Follow the Halloween fun throughout The Tech with trick-or-treat stations, festive decor and photo ops, and a Skeleton Linkages activity that brings tinkering into the celebration. Want even more Halloween fun? Add a Spooky Slime Workshop or catch a laser show in the Dome Theater.
Laser showtimes include Halloween Spooktacular at 4:30 and 5:15 p.m. and the new Stranger Things laser show at 6 p.m. Members receive discounts on workshops and laser shows, plus access to an exclusive Static Electricity Ghosts member workshop and a free Domi Halloween sticker.
Event Details
Saturday, Oct. 31, at The Tech Interactive, 201 S. Market St., San Jose. Tickets are $38 for adults and $28 for children, older adults, and students. General admission is free for members. Workshops and laser shows are add-ons.

Parking is Easy
Receive $5 parking validation when you park at the Convention Center Garage or 2nd & San Carlos Garage and present your same-day ticket at Visitor Services. (Excludes City-designated Special Event days.)
