Campbell Veterans Memorial Foundation To Host Fundraiser Dinner
Tickets on sale with discounts if purchased before Oct. 15. Guest speaker is former U.S. Deputy Assistant Defense Secretary Gloria Duffy.

CAMPBELL, CA – The Campbell Veterans Memorial Foundation is hosting its 2016 Saluting Our Veterans Gala Dinner & Fundraiser on Nov. 5 at the Orchard City Banquet Hall at 1 West Campbell Ave.
The guest speaker for the event will be Dr. Gloria Duffy, the CEO of the California Commonwealth Club and former U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense.
Duffy led negotiations with the former Soviet Union countries to dismantle their nuclear, chemical and biological weapons and managed the $400 million per year assistance program that assisted those countries to undertake this program. She was awarded the Secretary of Defense Medal for Outstanding Public Service in 1995 for her efforts in this project.

Tickets are on sale for the evening, that includes a silent auction and basket raffle and begins at 5:30 p.m. at the facility at 1 West Campbell Ave. in Campbell, and are available at the foundation's website, http://campbellveteransmemoria..., for $65 per person or $450 for a table of eight until Oct. 15, and $75 per person or $500 for a table of eight after Oct. 15.
The Campbell Veterans Memorial Foundation supports an endowment fund for returning veterans who wish to re-enter civilian life by attending various schools and colleges to enhance their education. The Foundation is associated with the West Valley-Mission Community College Scholarship Foundation and participates in maintaining and awarding scholarships to qualified veterans. The Campbell Veterans Foundation also maintains a memorial in the City of Campbell for the benefit of all veterans, primarily from, but not limited
to the West Valley area.
