DANCE ACROBATS (6 to 10 yrs.) Beginning and Intermediate Dance and Acrobatic Gymnastics

Dance and Acrobats classes are offered all year round. Come join the fun with Ms. Melinda!
DANCE AND ACROBATS PROGRAM: A FUN combination class in Dance Movement and Acrobatic Gymnastics.

Dance and Tumble (4 to 5 years): Intro.and Beginning Dance and Acrobatic Gymnastics. Mats, Balance Beam and Gymnastic Equipment will be used in conjunction with scarves, ribbons, sparkle wands and fun music! Students will learn basic Dance essentials including Creative Movement, Beg. Ballet and Acrobatic Dance will be taught. Dance and Acrobatic Gymnastic Skills are taught to students based on readiness and age appropriateness of each student. Children must be 3 years by the start of the session for Dance and Tumble. Dance Acrobats Class (6 to 10 years): Beginning to Intermediate Dance and Acrobatic Gymnastics. Students will learn Circus style Acrobat Pairs and Individual Gymnastics, Acrobat Tumbling and Acrobatic Dance. Dance Routines using Long and Short Ribbons, Juggling Scarves and Balls. Hoop Dancing, Veil Scarf Dances and Prop Balance are also taught. Elements of ballet and jazz will be introduced and taught. Safety guidelines of the USAG are strictly followed.
