Elderly South Bay Woman Dies Following Traffic Collision
The crash also involved a 12-year-old girl who is expected to survive, according to police.
SUNNYVALE, CA – A 90-year-old woman has died following a traffic collision late last month in Sunnyvale, police said Thursday.
The collision was on Sept. 26 on Tasman Drive east of Fair Oaks Avenue and also involved a 12-year-old girl who is expected to survive, according to police.
The accident occurred at around 6:10 p.m., The San Jose Mercury News reports.

Both victims suffered major injuries when a vehicle hit them. Police said they do not believe alcohol played a role in the collision.
The incident remains under investigation. The occupants of the vehicle escaped injury.

The name of the woman who died was not being released yet by the Santa Clara County medical examiner's office.
