Green Planet Yarn: Socks Lite on Double Pointed Needles

Green Planet Yarn in Downtown Campbell is pleased to present the class Socks Lite on Double Pointed Needles. This class, held on three successive Tuesday evenings (August 16th, 23rd, and 30th), is for beginning knitters.

This class is for individuals who want to learn how to make a sock. In this three-session class you learn how to make small child-size socks on double pointed needles. Skills learned will include working in the round, turning the heel, forming the toe and kitchener stitch. Students wishing to use circular needles (magic loop or two circs) should sign-up for the Socks Lite class using circular needles. Students will be given instructions to make adult size socks on worsted weight yarn at the end of the third session.

REQUIREMENT: Students need to bring to class a worsted weight yarn in a solid light color and appropriate double pointed needles (US 5-7).

The staff at Green Planet Yarn will be happy to help you pick out your supplies. Instructor will distribute pattern at the beginning of the first class.
