Fatality Reported In San Tomas Expressway Crash

SANTA CLARA, CA — At least one person died this evening in a crash involving a motorcycle at an intersection in the city of Santa Clara, according to the California Highway Patrol. The collision was reported at about 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at San Tomas Expressway and Scott Boulevard, CHP officials said.

The collision involved the motorcycle and at least one other vehicle, a Toyota Sienna minivan, according to CHP.

The crash was still being investigated Wednesday evening; further information was not immediately available.
