Power Out For Nearly 1,000 In Campbell Area

BREAKING: PG&E is investigating the cause of the electrical failure.

CAMPBELL, CA — Pacific Gas & Electric Co. reported a power outage in the Campbell area is affecting nearly 1,000 customers this morning.

The outage began at 7:34 a.m., the utility said.

Some 953 customers are affected in neighborhoods east of Highway 17 between South Bascom and Cherry avenues, south of Hamilton Avenue and north of Curtner Avenue, according to the power company.

The cause of the outage is under investigation, but PG&E estimates power will be restored at 11 a.m.
