  • could be hereditary. If there are certain defective genes and genetic mutations present in the members of the family, this increases the risk cause of Alzheimer’s disease.
  • Low immune system and protein imbalances in the brain are likely to lead to Alzheimer’s.

  • Keeping a checklist of things to do before leaving the house in a strategic location, such as beside the door will help a lot.
  • Use automated switch off featured electrical appliances as patients are likely to forget to switch it off after use.
  • Leave a set of spare keys with a trusted neighbor
  • Visit the GP regularly
  • These tips can be very helpful in looking after a loved one who has Alzheimer’s. In some cases, you may need to encounter behavioral problems in the form of physical aggressiveness and delusions. This may require certain medication, such as anti-anxiety or antipsychotic drugs.
