• Electrical equipment fire prompts road closure on Railroad Canyon Road (canyonlakeinsider.com) — An equipment failure sparked a late-night fire on a power pole along Railroad Canyon Road between the Canyon Lake Golf Course and Towne Center, briefly closing eastbound lanes and cutting power to some customers. Canyon Lake firefighters quickly extinguished the blaze, police managed traffic, and Southern California Edison crews repaired the damage, with no injuries reported.
