• Blessing of the Boats to launch Canyon Lake boating season (canyonlakeinsider.com) — Canyon Lake boaters can kick off the new season at the Yacht Club’s Opening Day and Blessing of the Boats on Saturday, May 2, from noon to 3 p.m. Boats will be blessed near Holiday Harbor Park, followed by a patriotic-themed parade around the main lake with local officials, scouts, and community groups taking part. 
• Lake Elsinore, Canyon Lake, Wildomar team up for National Night Out community event (canyonlakeinsider.com) — Canyon Lake residents are invited to join Lake Elsinore and Wildomar for National Night Out on Tuesday, August 6, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Canyon Hills Community Park. Families can meet deputies and firefighters, explore safety displays and vehicles, and enjoy music, giveaways, and food while strengthening ties with local public safety teams.
