Fill 'er Up: Gas Prices Drop By a Few Pennies
Most of the gas is going for less than it did last week at all of the stations in Capitola and Soquel.
The average price at the pump in Capitola and Soquel is $3.77 for a gallon of standard gasoline—3¢ less than a week ago.
The cheapest station to buy gas in our two towns is USA Gasoline in Soquel, which sells it for $3.66. That's closely followed by the two Quick Stops and Coast Gasoline, where it goes for $3.68 per gallon.
The highest price for gas is a good 22¢ more than USA Gasoline, selling for $3.88 at the Cruz Car Wash in Soquel. Valero and Chevron, at $3.84 per gallon, are close behind.
