Interested In CHP Patrol Job, Capitola-Soquel? Application Period Opens Today

If your dream is to become a California Highway Patrol officer, the CHP is opening its next cadet application period from Monday at 8 a.m. to Thursday at 5 p.m.

Applications are taken online.

After you create an account or login to your existing account, click on Apply for Open Examinations. According to the CHP, everyone who meets the minimum requirements and completes the online application properly will get a chance to test.

The CHP has 11,000 employees, including 7,500 officers.
