Annual Tip Top Run/Walk

Proceeds to benefit Agua Hedionda Lagoon Foundation's Academy of Environmental Stewardship

The annual Tip Top Run, a 5k/10k fun walk and run is Saturday, March 12, 2022, and will benefit the Agua Hedionda Lagoon Foundation’s esteemed Academy of Environmental Stewardship. The event, sponsored by Poseidon Channelside, a Poseidon Water Company and the Gemological Institute of America, offers spectacular views of the Agua Hedionda Lagoon and Pacific Ocean and is open to runners and walkers of all ages.

Proceeds from the run will assist the Agua Hedionda Lagoon Foundation’s ecological educational program which serves over 10,599 elementary school children countywide each year. This year, the Foundation is working to expand the program to 7th graders with new curriculum in development. Funds raised will also help school districts in disadvantaged areas bus students to the program.

The Tip Top Run includes a 5k/10k walk and fun run, lunch from Tip Top Meats, the namesake of the run; T-shirt, medal, family fun activities, World Water Day Festival entry, St. Patrick’s Day costume contest and a beer garden sponsored by Culver Beer.
