• Aviara Oaks Middle School Opens Modernized Campus for the 2026/27 School Year (northcountydailystar.com) — Aviara Oaks Middle School students in Carlsbad are starting the 2026-27 year on a fully modernized campus, including a brand-new administration building with STEAM labs and upgraded classrooms. Funded by Measure HH and local taxpayers, the $30 million project also brought new HVAC systems, roofs, landscaping and exterior improvements across six existing buildings, aiming to create a more comfortable and engaging learning environment.
