Authorities Search Carlsbad for Signs of Missing LA Man: Report
BREAKING: The car and clothing of Ebrahim Pouldar, 56, of west Los Angeles, were previously found in Carlsbad, according to a news report.

CARLSBAD, CA — Authorities brought search dogs Wednesday into Carlsbad, where the car and clothes of a man who went missing July 28 from west Los Angeles were previoulsy found, according to a news report.
Although no official information was immediately available from the Los Angeles Police Department at publication time, NBC7 San Diego reported Wednesday that the family of 56-year-old Ebrahim Pouldar reported him missing Aug. 6 under suspicious circumstances.
According to the news station, Pouldar's car was found five days later in a residential area near Hosp Grove Park, and on Aug. 17, his pants, keys and wallet were found near Buena Vista Lagoon.

NBC7 reported that tracking dogs were being used Wednesday in Carlsbad in an attempt to search for further signs of the missing man. Fliers were also being handed out.
Carlsbad police spokeswoman Jodee Sasway told Patch that Carlsbad police are assisting LAPD in the investigation, but she referred further questions to LAPD.
