e new operators of Belmont Park, the seaside attraction in Mission Beach, are planning a 10 million dollar makeover for the antiquated amusement park.
With focus on capitalizing on the ocean views, an expanded Canonball restaurant will offer a sushi bar, Kobe beef grill and a glass enclosed elevator to access the rooftop restaurant.
On the ground floor, South Mission Draft will feature a selection of 70 craft beers on draft, 100 bottled beers and will serve American pub fare.
Other plans include zip lines as an added attraction, upgraded and expanded park bathrooms and even an athletic club with a rooftop workout area.
Very few cities can boast an attraction like a beachfront amusement park and this planned revitalization can mean nothing but great things for the Mission Bay area and neighborhood homes. Want to enjoy a day at the park and sunset water views at night? Find your beachfront property here.
