Update: Brush Fire on Camp Pendleton Burns 350 Acres

A wildfire spread across a brushy artillery range at Camp Pendleton today, charring hundreds of open acres but posing no structural threats, authorities said.
The blaze erupted around midday in an undeveloped area at the North County Marine Corps station. As of late afternoon, it had blackened roughly 350 acres but remained a safe distance from structures, according to base officials.

A brush fire has blacked about 20 acres on Camp Pendleton, according to the base.
It’s burning in the vicinity of Range 108. No structures are threatened, and no evacuations have been ordered. No injuries have been reported.
Cal Fire is responding to the fire.
