Calling All Photographers and Julia Child Fans

Carlsbad City Library seeks photos for a special exhibit to complement Carlsbad Reads Together 2011.

Share your favorite photo of France or food as part of a library exhibit honoring this year’s Carlsbad Reads Together selection—My Life in France by Julia Child with Alex Prud’homme.

Each year, Carlsbad Reads Together encourages the community to read the same book at the same time, allowing for lively discussions and a variety of fun, community events. This year’s book selection recounts Julia Child’s years in France when she found her passion for cooking and teaching.

The photos will be displayed at all three Carlsbad City Library locations during the month of April. All work must be original. Complete details and a registration form are available at the library’s website.

Other Carlsbad Reads Together events include book discussion groups, foodie films, a French musical performance and a family-friendly cooking event with The Good Food Factory.
