Carlsbad Concerts In The Park Begin This Week: What To Know When You Go

Want to make the most out of your TGIF concert night? Here are some tips for where to park, when to get there, and what to bring with you!

CARLSBAD, CA — The TGIF Carlsbad Concerts in the Park begin this week in Carlsbad, the city announced. The 2026 lineup kicks off with country band "The Pistol Blonde."

The Pistol Blonde is on tap for Friday, June 19 at Stagecoach Park.

Friday, at 4 p.m., head to Stagecoach Park, located at 3420 Camino De Los Coches, for the high-energy country music tribute band. The concert is free, and attendees are welcome to bring a picnic, chairs and a blanket.

The Carlsbad Library & Arts Foundation offers activities like pop-up art, which are back this year. "Stop by the city’s Library and Cultural Arts booth for activities for all ages, from crafts to dance lessons to community artwork."

Want to make it a great night?

1. Bring your own snacks and food: Pack a picnic-no food or drinks are for sale at the event.

2. Park at La Costa Canyon High School, use free bike valet or have someone drop you off

3. Gates open at 4 p.m. and concert starts at 6 p.m.

4. Family-friendly fun is back! There will be line dancing lessons from 5–5:45 p.m. Craft paper horses with us| 4:30–7:30 p.m.

More concerts are coming to Calavera Hills Community Park on July 31 and Aug. 7, and to Alga Norte Community Park on Aug. 14 and 21st.
