Carlsbad Hi-Noon Rotary Scholarships

Scholarship applications for Carlsbad high school senior students living or attending school in Carlsbad are due on Friday, March 27.

Carlsbad Hi-Noon Rotary Club (CHNR) is accepting applications for its Scholarship awards for both college/university AND trade/technical schools.

If you know a senior high school student who is interested in going to a trade/technical school, please be sure they know of this scholarship opportunity--we are having trouble getting the word out sufficiently.

Last year, CHNR awarded $50,000 in scholarships. Those funds are derived from the Scholarship Raffle currently in process. Raffle tickets are $20 each or 6 for $100. They may be purchased via Zelle at carlsbadhnrf@gmail.com OR by sending a check to the Carlsbad Hi-Noon Rotary Foundation (a 501[c]3 organization) at PO Box 130175, Carlsbad, CA 92018 and your tickets will be returned to you. State law precludes online ticket sales.

Ticket drawing is April 27, 1pm, at the club meeting at the Holiday Inn, Bressi Ranch. Winners need not be present to win. (First prize is $5,000; second prize is $2,500; and third prize is a gift basket worth at least $1,000.) ALL proceeds from the raffle are used for scholarships.
