Carlsbad Man Arrested In Roommate's Death: Police
A Carlsbad man was arrested on suspicion of killing his roommate, authorities said Wednesday.

CARLSBAD, CA — A Carlsbad man was arrested on suspicion of killing his roommate, authorities said Wednesday.
The Carlsbad Police Department received a report of a death in the 2500 block of West Ranch Street shortly before 11:30 a.m. Tuesday. Responding officers found a 30-year-old woman dead in an apartment in the neighborhood near the intersection of El Camino Real and Tamarack Avenue, police said.
The woman's name was withheld pending family notification.

Following an initial investigation, police arrested Brehon Quigley, the woman's 44-year-old roommate, Carlsbad police Lt. Jason Jackowski said. Quigley was booked into the Vista Detention Facility on suspicion of murder. He was being held without bail.
"The investigation into what occurred and why is ongoing," Jackowski said. "No additional information is being released at this time."
