Carlsbad Rebates For Irrigation Hardware

Landscape contractors, HOAs and owners of large properties can take advantage of a new WaterSmart Contractor Incentive Program to help improve water-use efficiency, through rebates for irrigation hardware upgrades.

Qualifying hardware and rebate amounts

• Smart controllers $35/station
• High efficiency sprinkler nozzles $6/nozzle
• Flow sensors $60
• Drip irrigation $0.20/ square foot

Program requirements

• Designed for commercial, industrial, institutional and agricultural sites
• Minimum of one acre of irrigated landscape with no maximum limit
• Must receive potable water service from a San Diego County Water Authority agency
• Sites using recycled water may also be eligible on a case-by-case basis
• Contractors must hold a C-27 license and have a commitment to water-efficient irrigation
