Travelling to the United States for school is something that many people think about doing. For people who want to become a certified nursing assistant, the training in the United States is short and comprehensive. In some cases, all the training is done on the job. In other cases, it is done in a classroom setting.
While choosing a school based on the academics and tuition costs is important when you are going to the United States are both important, you also have to consider the location where you will live while you are in school. Two places that have CNA classes are in Augusta, Georgia and Fargo, North Dakota. While these are both in the U.S., they are vastly different climate wise.
For people who don't want frigid temperatures when they are taking CNA classes, Augusta, GA is good option. This city is in the southeast portion of the county. Georgia is located just above the popular vacation state of Florida. Many people say that Georgia is full of southern hospitality. This seems to be true. The people are really nice. The winters are very mild with very little snow, although this year there was a considerable storm that affected the area. The summers are warm and pleasant. The downside to this area is that you may have to deal with a hurricane, but that isn't very common.

For people who don't mind lots of snow while they are going to CNA classes, Fargo, ND is a good option. If you choose to live in Fargo while you go to school, you will be in the northern portion of the country. Heavy snow and very cold temperatures are normal during the winter, so if you don't like now and cold, Fargo isn't for you. The summers are mild, so you won't have to worry about sweltering temperatures during the summers.
No matter where you go for your CNA classes, you should make sure that there is a large population of foreign students so that you aren't all alone. You also have to make sure that you are eligible for the classes you want to take.
