Baby Boomers Comedy Show

Baby Boomers to Explode onto Carlsbad Village Stage

The Baby Boomer Comedy Show explodes onto the stage at Carlsbad Village Theatre, 2822 State Street, in Carlsbad on Saturday, November 12 at 8 p.m.

Jan McInnis and Kent Rader are fellow boomers who provide as many "AHA" moments as "HA HA" moments in their comedy. As they shine their comedic spotlights on such universal topics as work, dieting, aging, family, and do-it-yourself projects, we see ourselves in their stories and end up laughing hard about situations that we take too seriously.

The comedy style of McInnis and Rader has been described as clean, clever, and quirky. You'll find yourself repeating their observations to your coworkers, children, and even your parents.

Billed as "clean comedy for people born before seat belts, safety helmets, and Facebook," the dynamic duo of comedy never stop playing the hilarity card.

Caution: May result in severe pain in the funny bone and other body parts. "My sides hurt so much I feel like I've just had a workout at the gym," said one audience member.
McInnis has been featured in the Wall Street Journal and the Washington Post, and is the author of the book Finding the Funny FAST: How to Create Quick Humor to Connect with Clients, Coworkers & Crowds. Rader is the winner of the Branson Comedy Festival and has been called the World's Cleanest Comedian.
