The college's salute to Black History month includes performances by the MiraCosta Oceanside Jazz Orchestra and Frequency Vocal Jazz ensembles; theBREAX, a hip-hop, spoken-word band and the Los Angeles Gospel Music Workshop of America’s Young Adult Choir. The evening will also feature a spoken-word poetry performance by Collective Purpose.
