Children ages 2 to 12 may celebrate the season with fall and Halloween themed crafts made from natural materials.

Children may wear costumes. No scary masks, or adults in costumes please!
Craft activities ($1 to $3 per craft) Children will work with red clay to make a simple clay figure, like a pumpkin, a simple bird, an owl, or a pinch pot.
The figure can either air dry, or may be fired if you have access to a kiln. Make a leaf crown from dried fall leaves, recycled brown bag paper, sand and seed pods. Create a dry flower and grass bouquet in a bamboo cup. Decorate the bamboo cup. Paint and decorate a small pumpkin. Make a scarecrow collage from fabric pieces, construction paper, yarn and buttons. Make a funny bird from a small gourd, feathers and seed pods. Make vegetable prints of sliced vegetables and tempera paint, on large paper sheets. Make a spider web with marbles and tempera paint. Make a fragrant Halloween themed sachet from dried herbs and flowers. Cost: Free with admission or membership
