The November New Play Festival will feature three world premier plays each weekend beginning Nov. 12 at the New Village Arts Theatre.
"I Am the Machine Gunner" by Yury Klavdiev is about a young Russian gang member struggling to find the same honor in his battles that his grandfather found fighting in World War II. The one-man show stars James Knight. It runs Nov. 12 through 14.
"Picturing My Sister" is a workshop production of the Renee Moreno play, a romantic dramedy about civil rights, love and understanding. It runs Nov. 19 through 21.

The final production will be a new adaptation of "A Christmas Carol,"written by ensemble member Rachael VanWormer and Brian Mackey.The production focuses on the characters' humanity and the idea that everyone has the power to change within them. It runs Nov. 26 through 28.
Tickets are $15 per play or $39 for a festival pass.
