Renaissance Faire

This annual Renaissance and "Pirates in the Park" event is back.

Renaissance Re-Enactors, pirates, musicians and more will take over Felicita Park in Escondido.

Guests will be transported to the era of Queen Elizabeth the First and 16th Century England at this Gold Coast Festival event and San Diegans can join thousands of Renaissance enthusiasts for music, food and fun.

The Faire will offer all kinds of activities, including three stages of continuous entertainment, period music, battle pageants, 50 different renaissance arts and crafts vendors, children’s games and an assortment of themed food and drink.

The schedule for both weekends, April 28-29 and May 5-6 is as follows:

10 a.m. – Renaissance Faire opens

10:30 a.m. – Stage entertainment begins (3 stages featuring continuous entertainment)

Noon - Queen's procession and ceremonies begin

2 p.m. – Battle reenactment (ongoing demonstrations throughout the day)

Pricing is as follows:

  • Adults: $17
  • Seniors: $14
  • Children under 11: $8
  • Children under 4: Free
  • Weekend Pass: $27 (adults), $11 (children under 12), $22 (senior)
  • Parking: $5
