
The Museum of Making Music and the City of Carlsbad’s Cultural Arts Office present “The Brilliance of Mexican Composers,” a concert featuring music written by some of the country's most important composers including Agustin Lara, Consuelo Velasquez, Armando Manzanero, Roberto Cantoral, Maria Grever.
The music is arranged by the renowned Venezuelan, Allan Phillips and sung by vocalist Coral MacFarland Thuet. Grammy-nominated drummer Ricardo "Tiki" Pasillas and Bob Magnusson, one of the top acoustic bass players in the country, will join in.
