‘Wild Women Don't Worry’

Presented by Write Out Loud, Wild Women Don’t Worry is a collection of performances inspired by the Ida Cox classic “Wild Women Don’t Sing No Blues.” This collection of stories and poems will tell the tales of women of various ages from different time periods, who make unexpected choices.  

Selections include Edith Wharton’s “Roman Fever,” “Songs My Mother Taught Me,” by Hortense Calisher, Dorothy Allison’s “Steal Away” and Margaret Walker’s “Kissie Lee.”
