La Costa Glen Residents, Staff Go the Extra Mile to Fight Alzheimer's
Residents and staff from the La Costa Glen retirement community in Carlsbad joined the fight against Alzheimer's at this year's Walk4ALZ.
La Costa Glen retirement community and the adjacent health center, GlenBrook, fielded a full team of 30 residents and staff members at this year’s Walk4ALZ in Balboa Park. The “La Costa Glen/GlenBrook Friends and Family” team from Carlsbad, California, walked the 2.75-mile course through Balboa Park to fight Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia. This year’s Walk4ALZ attracted 3,000 participants with all proceeds supporting Alzheimer’s San Diego.
