In a survey by Niche Ink, downtown San Diego's Little Italy came in at a respectable number 10 on a list of the 25 best neighborhoods to live for people between the ages of 25-34.
Niche Ink is a website that provides in-depth articles and analysis on colleges and K-12 schools.
The methodology used for this survey was compiled from U.S. census data about population age ranges, median income, racial diversity and unemployment rates. Also used was crime rate statistics from the FBI as well as user survey results.
Little Italy is a diverse and vibrant neighborhood that is home to everyone from single professionals to young families. On the one hand, it is a thriving downtown metro with a vibrant restaurant and cultural scene. At the same time, it exudes the close knit feel of a suburban neighborhood complete with a local elementary school, dog park and is host to various art and community events.
