• Man who groped women on Carlsbad trail sentenced to jail (sandiegouniontribune.com) — A man from Oceanside has been sentenced to six months in county jail and must register as a sex offender after groping multiple women on a trail at Carlsbad's Calavera Preserve. Carlsbad police linked him to a series of incidents involving women hikers struck from behind as he rode past on an e-bike, with several victims included in related criminal complaints.
